| How I Create a Painting |

My paintings are made in several stages, applying very thin paint each time, and waiting until the image dries before going on to the next stage. I apply a minimum of 3 layers to the background (usually 5 or 6). The petals in a flower usually take more than 3 layers until I am satisfied (maybe 5 to 10). It takes many weeks, and sometimes months, to complete a painting. |
