| My paintings are made in several stages, applying a thin layer each time, and waiting until the image dries before going on to the next stage. Backgrounds are 3 to 6 layers. Flower petals usually require 3 to 10 layers until I am satisfied. It takes many weeks, and sometimes months, to complete a painting. |
