I Love to Paint Irises

Irises fascinate me.  They have a special beauty and majesty.  Their lacy borders and delicate ruffles make me believe they are dancing in the sun. 

I am lucky to have two of the world's most renowned iris growers, Schreiner's and Cooley's, quite nearby.  We visit them each spring to find new painting inspirations.  I also work with the Leifer Iris Test Garden in Washington State. 

  If you like irises, but can't choose a favorite from the paintings, consider getting an assortment of 10 iris cards.
