750 Thousand and Still Counting

Wow! Our latest web site visits statistics show that over 750,000 people have visited the site since we began in 1996. 

Visits average about 1,000 a day Sometimes it increases dramatically, such as when the "Anastasia" movie was released.  (Yes, they wanted to purchase our domain name!)

Visitors come from all over the world.  Many are children, using the internet to discover things.  Some are struggling artists, or women in third world countries.  Most are ordinary folks just browsing about. 

I love to have email conversations with the children.  They ask lots of questions.  (No, I'm not Princess Anastasia!)

I am deeply moved by the many messages from visitors that say the pictures gave them a moment of joy and peace in difficult circumstances. 

Dallas and Art Encounter

In May, I visited the Art Encounter Gallery in Dallas. We celebrated their 10th anniversary with a gala art show.  More than 400 people attended the show, and I got to meet several of my fans. The picture on the right shows me with one of my wonderful admirers.  She is filling her Texas home with my paintings!

Fine Art Licensing Flourishing

Late last year, I signed an exclusive licensing representation contract with Porterfield's Fine Art.  They are a first-class operation and fun to work with. Perhaps my work will be on calendars, fabrics, plates, and who knows what other wonderful items.  My first licensee is Taharaa Fine Art, who is producing giclee† prints of my paintings for wholesale distribution in fine art galleries throughout the United States.

Anastasia Email Stationery Very Popular

CloudEight Stationery turns artwork into lovely free email stationery.  The art work scrolls in the background of an email message while music plays in the background.  It makes your email quite emotional.  The collection Spring Splendor: The Floral Art of Anastasia has been very popular.  It is a ZD-Net "most popular" download! This collection of QuickNotes and a floral screensaver has brought thousands of new visitors to my site.  You may want to download all the stationery they have made with my work.  Also, if you sign my guestbook I'll send you a free gift of a special e-mail stationery collection.

A New Gallery in Oregon

I am extremely pleased to announce that you can now visit my art while vacationing on the Oregon Coast.  Ballantyne & Douglas Fine Art Gallery, is located in Cannon Beach, Oregon.  The art director, Peter B.  Magee, has been kindly giving me advice for several years.  I am very proud to now meet his high standards for inclusion in his wonderful gallery.  The gallery represents my work exclusively in the Northwest.

New Galleries in Hawaii

You can also visit my art while vactioning in Hawaii! Taharaa Fine Art represents my art in several galleries throughout Hawaii, including the beautiful Hale Mana gallery in Kauai. If you are lucky enough to be visiting Kauai, Hawaii, be sure and drop by the gallery.  I will be there next January for a show.  The beach is right next door!
